A soothing, floral-forward mocktail crafted with Blooming Kitchen's Serenity Tea blend, Verjus, lemon, roses, mint, and honey. Elegant, calming, and glow-enhancing.
This mocktail is especially supportive for grounding, soothing inflammation, and inviting gentle connection. Perfect for dinner parties, self-care, or any moment that calls for a gentle reset.
Ingredients (makes 1 serving)
- 4-5 oz mocktail base (see batch instructions below)
- 2-3 oz plain seltzer water
- Ice
- 1 thin slice fresh ginger
- 1-2 fresh mint leaves, torn
- 1-2 rose petals, for garnish
Mocktail Base (makes 6 servings)
- 2 cups strongly brewed Serenity Tea or plain chamomile tea (loose leaf: 2 tablespoons)
- 2 tbsp dried rose petals (or 1/4 cup fresh), steeped with the tea
- 3 oz fresh lemon juice
- 3 oz Horizon Verjus
- 6 oz honey syrup (3 oz honey mixed with 3 oz warm water)
- 1 fresh mint leaf, torn
- 1 slice of fresh ginger
- 1-2 fresh rose petals, optional.
To prepare:
- Steep tea and rose petals together for 10-20 minutes. Strain, add to a pitcher, and chill.
- Stir in lemon juice, verjus, and honey syrup. Store in the fridge until ready to serve.
To serve (per glass):
- Rim a cocktail glass with your favorite cocktail rimming sugar.
- Fill a glass with ice.
- In a cocktail shaker, add 4-5 oz of chilled mocktail base, fresh ginger, mint leaves, and rose petals. Shake to chill and mix well.
- Pour into your prepared glass through a strainer. Top with 2-3 oz plain seltzer and gently stir.
- Add a thin slice of fresh ginger and a few torn mint leaves, rose petals, and a lemon twist or wheel to garnish.
Notes:
- You can omit ginger or mint if you prefer a more floral experience.
- If you don't have Verjus, increase the lemon juice.
