Lavender Simple Syrup

Perfectly balanced to highlight floral notes without overpowering your teas, mocktails, or cocktails.

Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup dried culinary lavender buds

Preparation:

  1. Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely.
  2. Add the dried lavender and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  3. Simmer for 3-4 minutes, then remove from heat. 
  4. Let steep for 15-30 minutes, depending on how strong you want the flavor. 
  5. Strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove the lavender buds. 
  6. Cool completely, then transfer to a clear jar or bottle. Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
